Est. 1993: Three Decades in Downtown Asheville

Salsa’s opened its doors on this same downtown Asheville corner in 1993, making it one of the longest-running Latin restaurants in Western North Carolina. For three decades, Chef Hector Diaz has built a menu of original recipes drawn from across Latin America and the Caribbean - fresh, local ingredients, hand-squeezed juices, and a personality you can taste in every dish. What started as a bold newcomer on Patton Avenue has grown into a true cornerstone of the Asheville food scene, celebrated by the New York Times, BBC, Southern Living, and more.
